Version 1.0.2 (Beta)

Patch notes 1.0.2

  1. Combat

  • Strix SFX - Getting the Strix below 50% health no longer steals its voice and now it keeps shrieking until it dies
  • Shielbreaker debuff numbers - updated to 6 rounds so that the enemy starts at 5; numbers are scary
  • Shieldbreaker indicator on kill - if you kill an enemy with the Shieldbreaker, the status effect box won’t haunt your screen for the rest of the battle anymore

   2. User Interface

  • Updated all UI canvas scalers - send an email to frank.ortiz@lfb.studios.com for more details (don’t do it if you have an allergy to numbers)
  • Player Menu automatically popping up with the Game Over screen - Not anymore
  • Health and potions not updating properly (visual bug) - Using Q or J to open the Journal will now reflect the correct number of potions and HP level, as we trained it to do
  • Tooltips too large - Adjusted the size. Also, that’s what she said.

   3. Design / Quality of Life

  • Communicate the end - The game will tell you when you’ve finished the storyline

   4. Map & Overworld

  • Added river reeds - More nature, less problems
  • Water fish - There is one (1) fish in the water. Good luck finding it.
  • Torches in Pike and Miles at night - I’d like to know who worded this; The torches in Pike and Miles’ camp now light up in the evening, when they’re actually needed, instead of during the day.
  • Clipping shrubs - This is a strictly no clipping zone, so we fixed that.
  • Stationary lights in the evening - Lilith’s lamps behave like real lamps and light up properly
  • Fireflies at night - Added fireflies - they’re nice and magical

   5. Content

  • Added the game teaser on New Game - Enjoy 30 seconds of epic goodness whenever you start a new game

   6. Camping & Journal

  • Supplies Menu ends camping scene transition - No, it doesn’t.

   7. Technical

  • FPS cap - Capped the FPS at 60 so that your rocket PC doesn’t try to process 3795 frames each second
